When is Shab e Miraj (Meraj) in 2014 :- Shab e Miraj (Meraj) also known as Lailat al Miraj or Lalat al Qadr. Shab e Miraj (Meraj) could be on 23rd, 25th, 27th of Ramadan and Muslim Leader declaire the date of shab e Miraj among of them. However, mostly they confirm to celebrate Shab e Miraj (Meraj) on 27th of Ramadan. The 27th of Ramadan is on 26 July 2014 after the Namaz e Magrib. Most probably shab e Miraj would be on 26 July 2014 according to English Calendar. However, it will be 27th of Ramadan.
Story of Shab e Miraj (Meraj)
Some people aslo call Meraj e Rasool or Shabe e qadr instead of Shab e Miraj (Meraj). The Miraj e Rasool is journey of Muhammad (PBUH) from earth to Jantul firdosh and arsh e aajam and the Zibrail alehissalm take Muhammad to arsh e aajam, when he was sleeping in Night. In that night Allah given the Namaz for 50 times for Ummah of Muhammad (PBUH) but Muhammad (PBUH) requested to Allah to decease the Namaz to 5 times in a day as it is not posible for his ummah.
